This past weekend, Olympic Footwear proudly stood at the start line of one of South Africa’s legendary and demanding trail races – the Hout Bay Trail Challenge. Known for its rugged climbs, technical descents, and spectacular coastal and mountain scenery, this race is not for the faint-hearted.

Our Olympic athletes tackled a course that tested every ounce of endurance and grit, navigating steep ascents, rocky ridgelines, and unpredictable Cape weather. From the crisp mountain air at dawn to the roaring support at the finish, the spirit of the trail community was electric. We want to congratulate the amazing Ridge Cross & Gary van Rooyen for completing this tough event.
